General characteristics of the services offered
UCF is a reference institution in training and development for companies and professionals in the health and social services sectors. UCF has a specialized offer of a wide variety of courses, making intensive use of ICT and with a learning and results-oriented methodology. You can find the course catalog at this link .
Access to courses and incidents
The user accesses the courses by means of a personal username and password, the username being, generally, the ID provided during the submission of the registration.
In the event that there is an incident or delay in the start of technical courses on the UCF website, UCF undertakes to take the necessary steps to fix the incident as soon as possible. To communicate any technical problem you can contact the email info@ucf.cat or phone 93.259.43.81.
In addition, during the teaching of the course, the figure of the coordinator will remain pending any doubts and support needs that may arise.
- Institutions
For institutional professionals to access the courses, each institution will forward the relevant information about the professionals to UCF. UCF, individually, will register each user and will contact them privately by email confirming their username and password and information regarding the start of the course, at which time they will be able to access it, as well as any other related data that is of interest.
- Individuals
Once registration has been completed by following the steps on the website, an email will be sent to the registered user with registration details, access details and information relating to the start of the course, at which time they will be able to access it, as well as any other related data that is of interest.
Validity of registration
The course will only be accessible during the time scheduled for its delivery.
Course availability and right of withdrawal
Courses are offered subject to availability. If a course is not available or cannot start on the scheduled date, users will be informed of this as soon as possible.
For any of the courses, students have the right to withdraw from the contract, and request the amount paid (in the event that they have paid the amount of the course), at most up to one week before the start of the course, in attention to the course reorganization tasks that must be carried out when enrollments drop. In the cases to which UCF belongs, it will proceed to make the aforementioned refund by bank transfer within a period of 30 days. In this case, the amount that the student paid for the purchase of the course will be returned exclusively, without any obligation on the part of UCF to cover any type of expense incurred by the user/student to complete the payment, nor will the amounts referred to administrative registration procedures be returned.
In this sense, for courses taught in online format and also applicable in the case of individuals who enroll at UCF, according to article 103.m) of Law 3/2014, of March 27, which modifies the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other laws, establishes that contracts that refer to: are exempt from the right of withdrawal
«The supply of digital content that is not provided in a material medium when the execution has begun with the prior express consent of the consumer and user with the knowledge on their part of that, as a result, loses their right of withdrawal».
Therefore, once the course has been accessed, the buyer acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal given the specific nature of the product (online course) and the provision of all content to the student. The student, therefore, declares to be aware of these particular conditions regarding his right of withdrawal and accepts them from the moment he gives his consent to the purchase of the course.
Price and accepted forms of payment
The price of the courses is detailed in the file for each course and corresponds to the final price to be paid, aside from administrative and platform costs, if any. UCF reserves the right, which the user accepts, to modify its prices at any time, but courses will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time of enrollment.
- Accepted forms of payment for institutions
For the payment of courses for institutions, payment by bank transfer is offered, (requirements) upon presentation of the invoice by UCF.
In exceptional and specific cases, UCF reserves the right to request payment prior to the completion of the course.
- Accepted forms of payment for Individuals
A BBVA payment platform has been enabled for payment by private individuals of purchased courses. Payment can be made by credit or debit card.
