  • Contact us : we will use the identifying and contact data for the purposes of resolving doubts or queries that may arise from users when browsing our website, as well as about the services offered by UCF on it.
  • Subscribe : We will use identifying and contact information to send you informational disclosures about UCF services and promotions whenever the user so desires.
  • Contracting and payment of services : we will use your identification and bank details in order to be able to execute the contract for the purchase and sale of services in which you will be a party as a beneficiary. Therefore, the purpose of this treatment is to formalize a contractual relationship with the user, as well as manage the processing of payment for contracted services.
  • Access to the campus : we will use your identification data for the purposes of generating a user account so that you can access the virtual platform from where you can have access to the contracted services.
  • Academic file : we will process your identification, contact details and other information relating to the course or courses you take with the entity in order to keep a file that serves as a record of the training you have received from the entity and that accredits all the training received or in progress.
  • Cookies : this website has technology for the implementation, download and use of files called cookies on the user’s computer or terminal. Cookies will be used to improve navigation on the website, analyze the navigation of our users as well as for advertising purposes of offering personalized content. Legitimation of the processing of your data

  • The use of your data for contracting and paying for services is done to guarantee the execution of a contract to which you are a party. Therefore, we will treat your data in accordance with the provisions of article 6.1 b) RGPD. The same is also applicable to the processing of your data necessary to guarantee your access to the UCF virtual campus.
  • The use of your data to maintain your academic record is done to comply with the legal obligations imposed on UCF as a professional training entity. Therefore, your data will be processed for this purpose in accordance with the provisions of article 6.1 c) RGPD.
  • The use of your data for contact and inquiry is carried out under the protection of UCF’s legitimate interest in providing attentive and personalized treatment to website users who may make any type of inquiry. In this way, we treat your data for this purpose in accordance with the provisions of article 6.1 f) RGPD.
  • The use of your data for the purposes of subscribing to the UCF newsletter for advertising and promotional campaigns will be carried out as long as you have consented to it and as long as you do not withdraw your consent. Therefore, the use of your data will be subject to the provisions of article 6.1 a) RGPD. The same happens with the use of your data resulting from the processing carried out through the Cookies not necessary for browsing that this website uses.

On the occasion of the interactions you carry out on our website as well as the eventual contracting of services, your data may be communicated to the following recipients:

  • Banking entities to execute the payment of contracted services, specifically, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, SA who acts as UCF processor and is responsible for providing the payment service for contracted services.
  • Entities and institutions for supervision, investigation, fraud prevention and discovery of conduct contrary to the legislation in the field of Money Laundering.
  • To the competent Office of Consumers and Users in the event of any type of claim in which you and UCF are a party.
  • In courts and tribunals, State Security Forces and other institutions of the Administration of Justice when UCF is legally obliged to do so.
  • To the competent public administrations in those cases in which UCF is under a legal obligation to provide their data.
  • To those third parties who have access to certain Cookies used on the website that are not owned by UCF as long as you have consented to their use. You can consult this end in the  Cookies Policy .

In any case, the accesses of the third parties with whom we interact to provide our services will be carried out in strict compliance with all the legal requirements contained in the current regulations at all times.

Under no circumstances will your data be transferred to companies or international organizations located outside the European Economic Area. In the event that this fact changes, we will inform you and to that end we will update this Privacy Policy by adopting the necessary mechanisms to legitimize such treatments of your data.

UCF assumes its commitment to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of the data provided by the users of the website. Likewise, it is guaranteed that no further use will be made of your data apart from those set out above, and in the event that changes occur, you will be informed and, when appropriate, your consent will be collected for this purpose.

Data retention terms

  • Contact Us: in this sense, we will keep your data as long as they are necessary to solve your query. Once managed, the data will be kept for a prudent period of one year.
  • Contracting and paying for services: we will keep your data as long as the contractual relationship is in force. Once this has been executed, your data will be kept for a period of five years for the purposes of tax management as well as to respond to possible claims and responsibilities arising from the sale.
  • Academic file: to fulfill this purpose, we will process your data indefinitely and as long as you do not exercise any right to delete the data citing legitimate reasons. Your data will be kept permanently in order to preserve the students’ right to accredit their professional training received at the institution.
  • Subscribe: We will retain your data as long as you continue to subscribe to this website functionality. Once you withdraw your consent, your data will no longer be processed for this purpose.
  • Campus Access: We will process your data for this purpose for the entire duration of the performance of contracted services at UCF. Once the contractual relationship has ended, we will retain your access data and you will be allowed to access it for a reasonable period of 6 months.
  • Cookies: we will process your data derived from the use of those technical and own cookies, as well as third-party advertising and analytical cookies that you have consented to during the terms set out in the Cookies Policy .

Rights of interested parties

In compliance with current regulations on the protection of personal data, you have the right to:

  • Request information about the personal data of your ownership that are processed by UCF (access).
  • Request the correction and rectification of those personal data of your ownership that are no longer accurate or optimal to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected (rectification).
  • Request the removal or limitation of the processing of your personal data, when appropriate in accordance with current regulations (deletion and limitation).
  • Request that the personal data of your ownership that is being processed by UCF be made available to you in a structured and machine-readable format (portability). Also, when appropriate, you can request not to be subject to automated decisions.
